COUPLE'S CHOICE AWARD WINNERS, THE LOYALES (pronounced Lȯi - al - z) are New York's grooviest and most unique event band. Rather than a group formed to tap the wedding and party circuit, the Loyales developed organically from a like minded community of musicians who simply wanted to play and celebrate the music they love. That infectious enthusiasm has led them to become a beloved fan favorite.

THE LOYALES have played scores of weddings, private parties and New Year's celebrations including multiple events for Daily Candy, the NYC Food & Wine Fest. They are periodically tapped to back Chef Tom Colicchio, having become his band of choice for all of his events, including New Year's Eve at The Beekman Hotel.

Band leader MILTON is an active songwriter and performer who has shared the stage with Norah Jones, Al Kooper, Joan Osborne, James Hunter, Shelby Lynne, Steve Earle, Amy Helm, Kat Edmonson and Chris Smither, with whom he tours regularly. He has written music for HBO and was recently tapped to lead a City Winery tribute to the late Richie Havens, whom Milton sites as a profound influence on his work and love of music. He has just released his fifth album of original work, Studio City, debuting to a sold out audience at City Vineyard in New York.

JULIA JOSEPH is a songwriter, performer and session vocalist. Her voice can be heard on the newest release from Highly Suspect, MCID, which is currently #1 on the Billboard Rock charts and on the music of NBC's 30 Rock (including Tracy Morgan's infamous Werewolf Bar Mitzvah). Her debut album won the Independent Music Awards Vox Populi vote for Best Folk Album and she is currently working on a new release with film and television composer Giancarlo Vulcano. She is also a regularly featured performer with New York City's The Loser's Lounge.
